HEBREWS - CHAPTER FIVE

Hebrews - Chapter 5 The apostle Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit gives us great lessons and explanations about the relationship of Jesus and Judaism. So we know that Jesus was high priest, according to the Spiritual Order of Melchizedek, that enigmatic figure who appears to Abraham in the desert. Jesus was not a priest according to the flesh, that is, the second seed of the Levites. The Levites offered sacrifices to God as a figure of redemptive sacrifice of Jesus. HEBREUS - CAPÍTULO 5 O apostólo Paulo, inspirado pelo Espírito Santo nos dá grande lições e esclarecimentos sobre a relação de Jesus e o judaismo. Assim sabemos que Jesus era sumo-sacerdote, segundo a Ordem espiritual de Melquisedeque, aquela figura enigmatica que aparece para Abraão no deserto. Jesus não sacerdote segundo a carne, isto é, segundo a descendência dos Levitas. Os levitas ofereciam sacrifícios para Deus como figura do sacrificio redentor de Jesus.
